I was looking for lightweight, comfortable headphones with decent sound (and WITHOUT over-hyped bass frequencies - I''m lookin'' at YOU, Beats by Dre!) that wouldn''t break the bank. I wanted them for the gym, and for making music on my laptop studio when I''m away from home. I didn’t need or want noise-cancelling, and these headphones don’t have it.

Ideally I would have love to have tried them out first, but I''ve always had a high opinion of Audio Technica, so took a gamble on ordering them online without testing them for sound quality and comfort.

These headphones come with instructions and a charging cable. That''s it. Packaging is solid, mostly cardboard with the seemingly unavoidable non-recyclable plastic tray. The headphones fold, and I was able to find an old soft headphone bag from a previous pair to store them in for transport. I charged them up, tucked them into my bag, and was ready to rock.

First up, workout time. I happily wore them at the gym without issue - they stayed on my head, didn''t get in the way, and were lightweight and comfortable. Next up, laptop time. I was waiting for a friend for a few hours yesterday, so was able to test them as tracking headphones during a nearly 4 hour Ableton Live laptop session, and they never got uncomfortable, or ran out of battery. Even my expensive studio headphones hurt my ears after 2 or 3 hours, so this was a nice revelation. I haven’t yet tried them on a phone call, but that’s not a big deal for me - who uses iPhones for TALKING any more!?

The controls are easy to use, and I had no issue with staying connected via Bluetooth. I haven''t tested the limits of their battery life yet, but I don''t imagine that will be an issue for the way I plan to use these. The headphones are indeed very comfortable, which is a huge, huge plus.

Sound quality is decent. When listening to iTunes at the gym I found that the sound was decent, but felt a little flat, without a lot of definition. Although they don''t have super-hyped bass frequencies, the sound was still a bit … tubby. When tracking with Ableton on my laptop, I wasn''t bothered as much by the sound quality, and felt that I was able to hear a more defined sound-field, and I felt the mids and highs were fine. But to be fair, I was making some pretty bass-heavy electronic music. Will see how it sounds on my studio speakers.

Overall, decent, solid headphones with decent sound. Well-made and reliable. I’m happy with them.

Im no audiophile and ive never owned Bose or Sony so i cant really compare but i wanted some wireless headphones for gym,etc and saw these and the battery life and audio technicas reputation for solid headphones intrigued me. I also purchased the V Moda Crossfade Wireless as they were marked way down in price. Soundwise these are better to my ears. Much more crisp and balanced. Bass is just right. Whereas the V Moda the bass just overpowers everything and made my ears uncomfortable even after just a few minutes of listening. Build quality wise the V Modas felt better and i hated to return them. These are still pretty solid build-wise for the price point though. Theyre comfy enough and stay in place well just not quite as low profile as the V Moda. I have yet to take these to the gym but we will see how that goes soon.

UPDATE - comfort just isnt there as these simply press on your ears. I literally listened to 4 songs and my ears were sore. Going to return and look for some over- ear ones.

I bought this pair of head phones for my new LP60x-BT turn table. Was excited to give this a try and enjoy my growing collection to my heart''s content in my small apartment. Sadly, no matter how hard I tried, I was unable to get these to pair with the turn table. I could get these to pair with my phone no issue, and I could get a separate Bluetooth speaker to pair with the turntable immediately, but no matter how hard I tried to segregate and create a controlled environment without any interfering devices, I was unable to ever get the two to pair.

I will say this. I fully tests the earphones after giving up on the pairing. They do sound good, and the battery life seems to be on par with what the advertisement claims. The build materials are a little low on quality, but nothing that will disappoint. They were comfortable for wearing. If I didn''t have a good pair of earbuds that did the same job these do, I''d be keeping these for pairing with my phone. So, these have been returned But I can confidently give a full recommendation for what they are, and ignore what they are not.

The only thing that stopped me from giving five stars is the lack of a track navigation button.

For a bluetooth headphone, these are great, and ultimately I bought them over the Sennheiser HD 4.4/4.5 because they''re not as tight-fitting. I really appreciate that the ear padding material is pretty soft and therefor I can wear these with glasses without them feeling like they''re pressed into the side of my head. My only complaint is that the size of the ear-cup is a little snug. I don''t have large features, and I have to be really careful with the headband adjustment to make sure my ears don''t get strained. That said, having a good seal around the ear is crucial to a good pair of CLOSED-BACK headphones. I''m definitely able to listen to music in public at lower volumes than I would on open-back headphones, so the fact that they''re good for your hearing is a plus.

I bought these as an alternative to my AKG 240s because I wanted a closed-back headphone that was easier to throw in my backpack, and these have accomplished that. You can''t beat the battery life and I love the light gray color. I also love that they don''t have the popular overpowered bass drivers that are awful for your hearing.

The battery life is amazing on these headphones, I used to own wireless beats many years ago and would have to charge them every other night the battery would always die. These have lasted a week off of one charge and still hasn’t given me the low battery beeps, I’m super impressed! They’re very comfortable and light, the sound is okay not as good as my wired AT headphones but still good enough for gaming or watching movies/shows. I highly recommend if you’re looking for affordable headphones that’ll last.

I''m not quite an audiophile, but I do appreciate headphones that sound good. These do that, and that''s all I can ask for, but I compared them to a pair of cheaper, lower quality bluetooth headphones by Avantree, and I think they sound about the same. That said, perhaps the Avantree headphones just sound better than their price tag indicates.

I bought these in October (it''s late January now) and I think I''ve charged them maybe 4 times, and I use them for 3-5 hours per day, albeit not constant sound. I couldn''t be happier with the battery life, and as that''s why I chose these that''s awesome!

Comfort is highly subjective, and I do a lot of listening with only one cup over my ear, that''s not very comfortable. I find it starts to hurt quite bad after not long. But if you listen like you should, they are quite comfortable, so again, it''s really up to your head.

They lose one star because I feel the sound could be a little better. If it helps, it seems a bit thin in the midrange.

So I haven''t really been a headphone guy since the 80''s when I rocked a Walkman. But, now that I''m working at home I''ve been using my old Logitech headset for calls and meetings, and on occasion I''ll stream music. The on ear head phone started hurting my ears, sound was mediocre at best and the battery had to be charged almost every day. I hemmed and hawed about this decision, since the AT''s didn''t have a boom mic, but I wanted good sounding music headphones, and rolled the dice on the mic functionality. I watched/listened to tons of YouTube reviews on headphones and debated whether to go for noise cancelling or not. Blah, blah, blah... Made the right choice, these sound great, not studio quality great, but really good for these old ears. Tight fit around my ears, but they still fit around and have had no discomfort at all. As far as battery life goes, it''s been a week and i''m still rolling on the original charge. Highly Recommended

Update: 13 months in (i.e. 1 month past the manufacturer''s warranty) - The mic now fades in and out during meetings and the sound fades in and out while streaming music. I went from a big fan to, pretty bummed. Considered sending them in for repair, but I figure they''re going to charge more than $100, so not worth it. I''m kinda old school (or is that just old) and think something like this should last much longer than a year. So down grading my stars and looking for something else.

Tired of seeing reviews of the Sony wh-1000xm3 or Bose? You don''t have the budget for the 1000XM3 and/or despise the sound signature of Bose? Audio-Technica may be your answer. I must admit I was looking into wireless Sennheiser but read a lot of reviews about the poor comfort (for big heads anyways) so I was left looking elsewhere. I previously owned a pair of M50x, so I was familiar with the sound signature of Audio-Technica (which I love, more neutral, you hear pretty much everything clearly) I did not keep the m50x because there was too much clamping and I needed something more comfortable for 7hours listening sessions. Anyway, I was now in need of something wireless for the morning commute so I can keep my HD569 safe at work. I tried a few before finally stopping my choice on the SR30BT and am I glad that I did! First impression: When opening the box, the headphones were surprisingly small. I was expecting something bigger, not as big as the m50x but bigger than it is. But they do not feel cheap at all. For the price, the material does not feel cheap. They look and feel good. I like the fact that they only have hard buttons. No touch pad control whatsoever. Might be a turn off for some, big turn on for me. Comfort: Now, I really have a big head, most hats won''t fit me and finding comfortable headphones is something of treasure hunt. So, I was kind of skeptical seeing the size of those. But they are somewhat comfortable! Not as comfortable as my HD569 but still more comfortable than the m50x. There is little clamping and they are so lightweight that you forgot the fact that the headband does not have much padding. Earpads are not that big, I was sure they were going to feel more like On-Ear headphones but no! There is not much room for the ears, but it doesn''t impact the comfort in any way. I’m sure you can find more comfortable cans out there for more money but for 120$, they are comfortable (But not 7hours straight comfortable) and big head approve. Sound: If you are familiar with the Audio-Technica brand, you''ll probably be please by the sound quality. They sound great, maybe not as detailed as the m50x (which is normal since it''s wired vs wireless) but they are close! Everything is clear, good bass (I’m a bass player so when I say good bass, that means, you can ear and feel every notes of the bass track. Not talking about the "WHUMPH" that Beats lovers want. Soundstage is so-so but that kind of was expected for the price and the fact that they are Bluetooth. Value: I don''t get why these have not more reviews on the internet. So little YouTube video about them. They may not be noise cancelling but they are a GREAT value. At that price, you won''t find something that will sound as good, will be as comfortable and as lightweight as these and that will last 70 freaking hours on a single charge! Treat yourself 2020

When I first put these on I hated them becuase they felt quite tight and the head rest was a lot harder than the well padded headphones they were replacing. However after wearing them for about 5 minutes I forgot they were even there, becuase they are so light and the stiffness went out of them after a few wears so they are no longer as tight fitting as when new. The battery is amazing. I use these everyday as my general headphones for listening to music and podcast and watching YouTube etc. and the sound is 100% and I only charge them once every 1 or 2 weeks. Sound is grand. I have decent studio monitor headphones for work and doing video editing etc. and a load of other headphones as well - to be honest while they all sound a bit different, they all sound good. I don''t think I have come across a pair of headphones that sounded bad since the 90s. I think they look good style wise and have normal bluetooth range. They also seem well built as my 4 year old likes to wrap them round his waist pretending they are some form of rocket belt for flying round the house, and they always spring back into shape. They don''t have a few things that you might get in other headphones at this price point, but the reason you are buying these is becuase they are light and can be listened to for vast periods of time without recharging, so if that is what you want then buy these. If you want stuff that these headphone don''t have, like an audio jack port, or noise cancelling or waterproofing etc, then don''t buy them.

I don''t do reviews often, but I felt compelled to write about this headset. For context I want to write in context of my experience of my previous headphones, the Sony Wh-C500''s. They were temporary headphones I got to keep me going and boy did they. But I thought it was about time I got something more "premium", a headset closer to the £100 mark. These are well built. I''ll keep it short but the fact that there are things missing from these that I could get in a £30 pair is disappointing. Sound quality, good. Only good. Quality of high and mids decent but bass is underwhelming, if that''s what you like. It also sounds a bit echoed. It doesn''t leak sound, which is good for public decency. Nice buttons on the right cup. It doesn''t get loud enough, unfortunately. It doesn''t have a lot of "oomph" for a brand held in such high regard. Maybe miss these ones. If you want a decent pair to get you through, I sincerely doubt you''d regret getting the newer WH-C500''s for £35 here on Amazon.

Excellent product. Sound quality is superb (to be expected from Audio Technica). Some reviews say that the bass is lacking but that is simply not the case (I suspect the audio settings on their output device need adjusting). They are somewhere between ''on-ear'' and ''over-ear'' in terms of fit. They are much more comfortable than ''on-ear'' headphones but not quite as comfortable as ''over-ear''. That being said, I have still been able to wear them for hours at a time without any real discomfort. Solid Bluetooth connection, elegant design, and unbeatable battery life. They have surpassed all of my expectations.
